What we collect
- Clients and enquirers: your name, organisation, role, contact details and what you tell us about your requirement.
- Candidates and contractors: your name, contact details, CV, work history, qualifications, location, what you are looking for and notes from our conversations. For contractors we place, this also includes the information needed to contract and pay you and to carry out right-to-work and other pre-engagement checks.
- Website visitors: our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
We collect this when you contact us, submit a form on this site, send us your CV, speak to us or when we find your publicly available professional profile, for example on LinkedIn.
How we use it and our lawful basis
- Responding to enquiries and delivering our services: to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to perform that contract.
- Finding and introducing candidates to roles: our legitimate interest in providing recruitment services. We will always ask before sending your CV or details to a client for a specific role.
- Staying in touch about relevant roles or services: our legitimate interest. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- Meeting legal obligations, such as right-to-work checks, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, tax and accounting records.
Who we share it with
We share candidate information with a client only for a specific role and only with your agreement. We also use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, including our email and document storage (Microsoft 365) and our website host (SiteGround). We work with our partner office in Dubai, Middle East Advisory Partners. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate information for up to two years after our last meaningful contact with you, unless we have placed you, in which case we keep the records the law requires us to keep. We keep client enquiry information for as long as we have a business relationship and then for up to two years. Financial records are kept for six years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict or object to how we use it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email us at the address above and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
